Melonex Plus: A Different Medicine With a Similar Name
Melonex Plus is not a capsule we sell. Melonex capsules have one formula, a 500 mg blend of citrulline and arginine, and no Plus version. A product called Melonex Plus elsewhere may be a medicine, possibly built on meloxicam. Read its label and ask your pharmacist or vet.

Is there a Melonex Plus?
Not among the Melonex capsules. The bottle carries one formula: L-citrulline DL-malate, L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate and L-arginine HCl, in a 500 mg proprietary blend. No Plus version appears on the label or the sales page (Melonex sales page).
The name Melonex is also used for meloxicam drugs in some countries. Meloxicam is a prescription NSAID with a boxed warning for heart attack, stroke and stomach bleeding (MedlinePlus, meloxicam). We cannot tell you what is in a Plus product from another maker.

Why does a Plus label deserve a second look?
A Plus suffix suggests an added ingredient, and nothing tells you which. Without a full label, you cannot weigh it.
Supplements do not need FDA approval before sale (FDA, supplement Q&A), and a few have been found with hidden drugs (FDA, hidden drug notice). A product with an unclear label is a poor candidate for guessing.

- Does it say prescription only?
- Is a phone or email for the seller printed?
What should you do with a Melonex Plus bottle?
Take a photo of the label and show it to a pharmacist before using it. If it was meant for an animal, go to a vet instead.

Do not stop a prescription or swap it for an unknown product. Ask the prescriber first.

FAQ01
Melonex questions people ask
What is in Melonex Plus?
We do not know, and the capsule label lists no Plus line. Ask whoever sold it for a full ingredient list, or ask a pharmacist.
Is Melonex Plus stronger than Melonex?
Melonex capsules have no stronger version. Their label holds a 500 mg blend and one formula, so a Plus product is something else.
Can I give Melonex Plus to my dog?
Do not guess. Show the label to your vet, who can tell you what the product is and whether it suits your animal.
