Melonex Fact Check: 9 Claims, Rated Against the Label

Quick answer

This Melonex fact check rates nine claims from the bottle and the sales page. Three are confirmed as stated, five are unproven or undefined, and one can mislead if read the wrong way. The heart and circulation claims are allowed wording, not proof, and no study of the capsules exists.

How do you fact check a supplement claim?

You fact check a supplement claim by asking what it says, who must back it and what evidence exists. FDA does not approve supplements before sale, and sellers need support for the claims they make (FDA, supplement Q&A).

We use three ratings: Confirmed (it matches the bottle or sales page), Unproven (no evidence for Melonex itself) and Misleading if misread.

Which Melonex claims hold up?

The claims about the label hold up, and the claims about health benefits do not yet.

Nine claims, rated. Sources: the bottle and the October 18, 2026 sales page.

Why are the heart claims only rated unproven?

They are rated unproven because they are structure/function claims, and those need no FDA review (FDA, structure/function claims). The ingredients have some trial support at higher doses: citrulline at 3 to 9 g lowered systolic pressure about 4.1 mm Hg (Barkhidarian 2019, citrulline meta-analysis).

Melonex holds 0.5 to 1 g. Unproven does not mean false. It means the capsules themselves were never tested.

FAQ01

Melonex questions people ask

Who rated these claims?

The label desk at this site did, using the bottle, the sales page and the cited studies. We are a retailer, not a lab, so check each source yourself.

Does an asterisk on the label mean the claim is false?

No. The asterisk points to the standard FDA statement that the claim has not been evaluated. It means the claim is allowed wording, not a tested result.

Is there a claim you could not rate?

Yes: the lot references on the bottle. They name a batch, but no lab report is published, so they cannot be rated as proof.
